Ropo...I'm sorry , I'm not really getting anywhere here in Montana ( I'm still trying though !) . It's clearly obvious to me that the lawyer you have is not doing you a bit of good . I'm sure that we could find a way to round up some money to get you a lawyer who actually cares about the client , and will get this whole mess straightened out in a more timely fashion . I am willing to give some money for a new attorney.....I know that the economy is horrible now....but I'm sure our fellow BYC members will lend a hand anyway they can if it means getting your horse back and putting an end to all of the run around from your towns judicial system . Just remember that you can always appeal any decision made by your court , and if need be , go to higher courts with a jury trial . I would seriously reconsider the lawyer you have working for you , this guy seems very unconnected and unconcerned about your case .
You're a strong woman , you'll get through this and enjoy Max more because of it . Never give up !

It's supposedly set for April 29. The DA said the judge claims she wants to get it done all at once.

Who's responsibility is it to make sure everything's in order for the hearing on April 29th?

I would confirm with the DA that both hearings are going to take place on the same day.
