Stone dust for run floor?

Just wondering how it’s been going with the stone dust because that’s what we put in our run and we’re just starting. 4” deep.

This thread is really old. You may not see much response. I would be concerned that stone dust would not help the poop break down and would end up as a stinky mess. Plus, it sounds hard on the chickens feet .... they like to dig. Wood chips seems to be the #1 choice around here with sand as an option for those who live in a really dry places and want to scoop it out rather than let it break down.
