Stop bantam from crowing

I have a bantam rooster (bantams are a lot smaller then regular hens) and we have crowing collars but he keeps taking it off. Also it is hard to get it to the bottom of his neck and when we do it has to be big to stay on and he loosens it and gets it over his head. Do you have any suggestions to help? We bought normal collars and make the length shorter but does the width need to be smaller too. Where do we put the collar, which part of his neck?

I do not have a no-crow collar myself, or a rooster, for that matter, but I wish you luck with yours. It is important, however, to realize that there is no true way to keep a rooster from crowing, and that crow collars do not work for everyone. It is a natural part of rooster behavior and a method of communication.
