Good morning everyone.
I just wanted to rant a little bit.
In the show world, things can get a little harsh/brutal. An example being that my white wyandotte cockerel has a sinus infection. I know it's a sinus infection because his right sinus cavity is swollen and his wattles are swollen. This is something that can be easily treated. I posted on my FB asking people what they use to treat sinus infections now that you can't get Tylan in TSC. I got a message from the guy that I got him from telling me to "just kill that one. It's not worth the trouble."
Like c'mon man, it's not that serious. Breeders of show birds tend to hatch out hundreds of the birds each year, so they have the "freedom" to just dispose of birds that they don't care to treat. I understand culling when there is an injury or something, but for a sinus infection? Really? I'm not going to cull over a sinus infection.
Anyway, I gave 0.5cc of the Tylan 50 I had left. Hopefully that will clear up his issues.
