Its wet, messy, and thats the weather.
in the brooder the waterer and food dish keep getting wet and messy.
Between the two I got bored so I entered the shop to solve.

Only time it will be clean I'm sure.I'll let nature do the staining color

They seem ok with it.

SO CUTE little fuzzy butts.

I've seen some folks tape paper on the jars that come up to a point like a cone to keep the chicks from sitting up there and pooing into the food and water.

Nice, but the roosting on top of the jars won't quit. That seems to be the biggest pain I have with the messy waterer -- poo.

My biggest problem is the flying shavings ending up in the containers. This looks like it would solve that, at least.

OP, why don't you sell those on the forum?

My babies will have the bedding flying the second I put a clean waterer in the brooder. I swear they plot when I'm not looking
