Stop the spinning....!

I'm sorry you're going through this. I had an illness with vertigo several years ago, and I know what a misery it is. Falling because you lose your orientation, nausea, headaches....I feel for you. Mine was associated with a virus (shingles) and once the virus was treated, almost all of the vertigo went away. I wish I could offer more than well wishes.

Going to ENT this afternoon. Will see what's up (and down, and around and around!) then, maybe. The spinning is marginally better today, but don't look UP for heaven's sake!

Well, the pressure in my ears is fine, my hearing is better than a dogs (seriously, the audiologist said I needed to get a job as a spy, no keeping secrets from me!) and the ENT doesn't have a clue yet. I'm going in Feb. for another test that sounds like oodles of fun (need an empty stomach and a ride home... ominous). Ah well, I guess the Christmas tree looks just as good from a safe distance. Thanks for all your support (I need it!)

Oh I feel for you.

I get it now and again and mostly notice it when I am driving of all the safe places to be.
First time I got it was after flying back from TX. I got an inner ear infection on top of a nasty cold. Was on my way home from work when I made a simple lane change. OH BOY! I pulled over and called my husband to tell him I was going to be late. I sat there for a good 20 minutes before I felt ok enough to try driving again. Took me about 3 hours to get home since I was so "off"

I still occasionally notice some vertigo when I am backing the truck up for some reason.
