Would it make any difference if I stopped turning my chicken eggs on day 17 instead of day 18? I'm going to be out of town on day 18 and was wondering if I need to have someone take my eggs out of the turner for me. Any input from my chicken family would be appreciated. I've never run into this situation before and don't want to ruin my hatch. [IMG]

I would think it would be absolutely fine. Especially since folks with staggered hatches go into lockdown before others are ready. By the time they are that big, they shouldn't need to turn anymore anyway.
