I don’t agree with giving animals artificial sugar. THe propel is full of it..If you feel then need that you absolutely need to give your chick something beside plain fresh water use Propel.
Notice the ingredients and pay special attention to the SUGAR levels.

I buy generic apple juice boxes. Long shelf life, no refrigeration needed. They pack compactly too. Crack one open and share our to several. The only peeps I know that use Gatorade are horse people. They use the plain non-flavored because some of their horse's will not drink water they are not familiar with, when their on the road.
As far as electrolytes for my birds, I use Nutri-Drench!
I wonder what the Gatorade recipe was 5 yrs ago.
Probably the same?I wonder what the Gatorade recipe was 5 yrs ago.
IMNSHO that's how it should be, but if one has a bird that needs fluids tubed, it's okay to give Gatorade.Watering my chickens with anything else but just plain water (with the exception of medications) has never crossed my mind.
Gatorade has probably save a few of mine.Yikes. I won't drink Gatorade. I certainly wouldn't even consider giving it to an animal. What are people thinki... no, never mind. They're just not, are they?
