Stopped laying after a Hawk attack

My 35 week old Easter Egger was attacked by a hawk 10 days ago. They wrestled around for a bit and she lost a lot of feathers. She is still pretty freaked out and hasn't laid an egg since. Does it take this long to recover from the stress?

Yes this is expected. Predator attacks are extremely stressful! If she isn't stressed by anything else, she will start laying within two weeks.

It'll take as much time as she needs, depends on her character and injuries...could be a couple weeks could be longer.

Did you check her over real good to make sure she doesn't have any wounds?

The shortening days might effect her return to lay unless you are already using supplemental lighting.
