It has now been a little over a week since her last egg. Good appetite, normal behavior. Although she is not scratching in the dirt of her coop like she usually did. Also, yesterday she had a handful of feathers on the ground. Does this sound like the start of a molting? Our temps here in South Georgia have been sporadic, at best lately.
My gal that quit laying lost only a handful of feathers. Never enough for me to obviously know they were missing or to see any bald spots on her, just enough so that I saw them under the roost in the morning. She's my only EE so I knew they were her feathers.
She quit laying for about a month but began laying again this week. Hang in there and hopefully she'll start laying for you again in a couple of weeks or so.
