stopped laying in boxes

I have had my chickens for a year now they always laid in the nesting boxes, all of a sudden they make a nest in the corner of the coop and lay there now. I don't know what happened or why. I do have a rir hen in 1 box(broody since june) I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not.

Is that broody RIR on eggs are are you just letting her sit there thinking she is hatching eggs? Broody hens can be mean, I understand your other girls wanting to stay far away from her.

She is not on eggs, I did let her hatch 3, they hatched back in June. She got out for a couple weeks then went back broody. I take her out of the box a couple times a day but she goes straight back to box, I have noticed when she is out she runs crazily towards other hens.
