Hello!
Here are my ladies: -A 1 1/2 year old RIR
-5 red sex links, about 24ish weeks
-An 8 month Ayam Cemani

My cemani lays regularly.
My RIR Lil B was laying regularly unt about 5 weeks ago when I confined her to a coop. It's a large 16 'x 10 foot run with a building to accommodate more birds than I have. She was roosting above my meat chickens for awhile but due to predators I locked all my birds up.

My 5 "started pullets" I bought were all laying at 18 weeks the day I brought them home in my tiny coop. They laid well until I moved them into a bigger coop but again, it's been weeks. They have plenty of food, treats, water, supervised free range time a few days a week. But NO eggs! They are plump happy little freeloading hens!

It is about 80 degrees out in northeast Ohio...besides the heat and move, what could be the cause for the lack of eggs?

Several things. But maybe it was the move that shut them down. Here's a small list of questions, but you may have all of this covered already. Do any seem to be molting? Have you done a parasite check? Any black spots on combs or wattles? Any chance they are laying while free ranging and just not giving an egg song? Is there any way for egg thieves (ex. snakes) to get into their enclosure?

The RIR is scheduled to molt.

Moving could be the cause of the pullets.

From the description, ayam cemeni do not lay that many eggs. I don't have experience with this but poor layers of small to medium eggs is the description.

Work on making sure they are healthy and parasite free is about all you can do

Thank you! I'll check for black on their combs and wattles. Their coop has rat wire/a fiber mesh than chicken wire both on top and skirted under, it's possible a snake could get under but my turkey roosts on the ramp into the coop. Because of resident foxes, if they free range its maybe 3 days a week and I sit outside and watch them. I had a fox snatch one while I was by the door one day so they don free range much :(.

I'll check for parasites though and thank you for the info on multi! My ayam cemani was in a separate coop for a short time and her eggs are different from the others so I'm fairly sure she's the one laying, probably 4-5 days a week
