Hello!
Here are my ladies: -A 1 1/2 year old RIR
-5 red sex links, about 24ish weeks
-An 8 month Ayam Cemani
My cemani lays regularly.
My RIR Lil B was laying regularly unt about 5 weeks ago when I confined her to a coop. It's a large 16 'x 10 foot run with a building to accommodate more birds than I have. She was roosting above my meat chickens for awhile but due to predators I locked all my birds up.
My 5 "started pullets" I bought were all laying at 18 weeks the day I brought them home in my tiny coop. They laid well until I moved them into a bigger coop but again, it's been weeks. They have plenty of food, treats, water, supervised free range time a few days a week. But NO eggs! They are plump happy little freeloading hens!
It is about 80 degrees out in northeast Ohio...besides the heat and move, what could be the cause for the lack of eggs?
