Stopping more hatching

Well the pigeons don't seem to be bothered that I switched two eggs for fake ones. The squab seems to be sat on them for the best part. Haven’t really seen the parents in there unless they're feeding the youngsters. The other nest that I left the eggs in seem to be left all day and the parent goes in at night and sits on them. So not sure about them. But I have no extra eggs anywhere at the moment. And all seems reasonably peaceful!

I hope this method works. I have three occupied nests - 2 with fake eggs and one with their own eggs.

PS I just let the the birds out and 3 took off flying FOR REAL!! They were up about 5 minutes making big loops overhead, not in a tight group, but they will learn. They look great flying! I am thrilled!!

Fantastic! I can't wait to see mine out. Another couple of weeks yet. I think they are at the toddler stage at the moment! Stumbling around by the nests!!

They scary thing is my ybs are already courting each other... I have seen 2 siblings mating and they aren't even 90days old- hatched Apr 24!Definitely fake eggs for them...
