Store bought eggs hatch along anyone? I'm buying regular organic.

WinklerFarms- that's awesome that you found such fertile eggs in your store. What a great deal! Where they refrigerated?

Non of my stores sale fertle eggs and our farmers market dosnt start for another month I think , Im guessing the non organic non free range woudnt be fertle as they keep those poor chickens in tying little cages , but I wonder if some of the organic free range ones might be as where theres a rooster theres a way right

I a going to try a dozen free range organic eggs because I am very curious of the results. I live in a small town and we don't have fertilized eggs around here either.

The first dozen that I put in to test them were refrigerated but the 96 I set Friday I bought before they made it to the cooler. I am hoping that I can get around 75% hatch With these. Fertility is great but they aren't stored quite right so I am expecting some early blood rings.

My TJ eggs were almost 2 weeks old when I bought them, and they were in the refrigerator. It still came out great. What I did was pick the newest batch they had, and from the outside of the refrigerator where it is relatively warmer than the inside.

I found fertilized store eggs!!

I happened upon them at Super 1 Foods in the organic section. If your town has this store I bet you too will find fertilized eggs in the organic section. (Why I didnt think of that before I don't know.) They are clearly labeled "fertilized brown eggs" I am SO excited.
The eggs I am setting with the store eggs have not shipped yet so the setting may even begin next week.
