Store bought eggs hatch along anyone? I'm buying regular organic.

How's the hatching going everyone. I still have 90 in that are doing great.

I just hatched out 6 of 8 store eggs that made it to lockdown. I set a dozen and 4 were early blood rings. The other 8 made it to lockdown but two of them never piped. They look like reds of some sort, and like I said before I think they are production reds.

I just bought some Cage Free Organic Americauna eggs from my grocery store (Pete & Gerry's Heirloom Eggs). It doesn't say fertile eggs anywhere on the carton. Has anyone had any luck with just plain cage free eggs or do they have to specifically say 'fertile' eggs.... I'm thinking of popping them in the incubator just to see.

any thoughts?

I would think it might be possible if they are cage free then they are probly kept in large sheds and although they are probly sexed as day olds who else thinks a few males might make it past inspection??

candled last night....couldn't see anything eggs are to dark....will try again in a few days..
