Store bought eggs

I decided to try an experiment. I bought 15 eggs from a popular Asian market for $2.50. They are now in my incubator.

Anyone else ever try this??

Both. Had 1/2. Out 6 fertile. Nothing hatched as it was my early experimental days lol. Not tried since I brought the rcom's.

I go to a market auction to get pure breed eggs but not always as pure as I would like lolol

I thought about trying to hatch store eggs but I could only find them for just under $7 around here.

I was wondering the same thing! I know chicken eggs have been hatched from supermarket stores but I wonder if anyone has done the same for quail eggs. Let me know if your eggs develop or hatch! Im probably going to try it too because I have an asian supermarket near me that I think supplies quail eggs.

They look like coturnix eggs. I don't seen any veins yet.

Maybe they were old. I am going to keep them in until Sunday and check them again.
