Store Bought vs. Fresh from the Coop *Pics*

Quote:
That reminds me that everytime I ate store bought eggs, I'd feel crummy the rest of the day. My belly just didn't feel right, kind of felt like a rock sitting in there and it would churn all day. I thought it was the eggs, so I just rarely ate eggs.

I eat my fresh ones just about every day and I have no problems whatsoever.

Bec, don't faint- but I have 36 chickens, and I don't eat eggs.

Maybe I will give her/him the link to here!

I know for a FACT that backyard eggs taste 1,000 times better than store bought eggs!

However, I have one granddaughter that refused to eat her scrambled eggs the other day because they looked funny. She had never had fresh farm eggs before - and they had more color than she was used to. The other kids loved the eggs. She finally agreed to try them because the other grandkids volunteered to eat her share if she wasn't goiong to eat it, and if there's one thing that little girl won't do, it's share!

Once she tried the eggs, she was hooked, of course...

My daughter- in- law told me that she prefers store bought to farm raised because farm raised are stiffer. Go figure.
