Storebought Egg, graphic, disgusting picture warning!

I will admit to seeing something like this before. I had a hen who went off in the woods and built a nest. It was summer and hotter than hades so I did not pay attention to how much time she had been spending in the woods. Its shady. No brainer. Well apparently she had a nest and maybe I missed counting her but when we found the eggs some got cracked open to see if they were bad. She must have sat on them or it was just that hot but some had a blood ring and some had a moldy looking blood ring. Some she had pecked open a bit and they were wicked ucky inside. There were 2 or 3 weeks of eggs in that nest.

I am thankful I don't have to depend on grocery store eggs. We know when we find old eggs and can avoid them. You buy em and you have to take age and quality for granted. That is a gross egg though.

Ok that would have hacked me off and good! I'm not one to crack my eggs into a bowl before I use them in something, but I've never seen anything like this in anything my girls have laid. I haven't had a store bought egg in I can't tell you how long...that I cook with at home that is, but this creeps me out just thinking about those times that I've eaten out.
