Ok I have too many eggs to keep up with my bator. I have been storing them on the counter turning twice a day and I want to keep the fresher ones for incubating. they have been on the counter for 10 days and I know fertility drops after that are they safe to put in the fridge and eat after being stored for over a week at room temp?

yes they are ok to eat
or if you dont feel confortable

you can boil them
chopped them and give it to the quails for extra protein

Boil'em for 7 minutes......peel'em........put the salt and pepper shaker to'em......and enjoy.....

I would treat any eggs that were not for sale as hatching or I couldn't set as eatable. I would wash, dry and refrigerate them around day 1-2.

That's just me. I would toss any egg 7-10 days old as, non-hatch-able and non-eatable.
This is just MHO!
