So... I always store eggs on a shelf in my kitchen- they are in a basket and look great and are always at room temperature for baking.
I have stopped selling eggs for the season, to collect for our family for the winter... so I started storing the excess eggs in the basement fridge.
I then bring them up one carton at a time when needed and put into our egg basket on our shelf.
I have googled this and it says once its in the fridge, you are committed. As with many things on the internet, I would rather hear form real people who have actually had experience with this.

Does anyone store in fridge and then move to counter-? Have you had any issues?? (egg sweating/bacteria growth etc..)

Once they're in the fridge, I don't set them back on the counter. They generally have humidity bead up on them and something about a damp egg doesn't appeal to me. :) This doesn't mean it can't be done, (I don't know to tell you the truth) but I don't trust it.
