Storing feed

I use food grade 55 gal drums, they hold about 300 pounds of feed.

second...err third, the metal trash can. Can be found "fairly" inexpensively. All fails, look on craigslist

I have an old chest freezer that I keep the bags in, critters can eat through the plastic containers. Metal cans are better.

Two five gallon buckets. A fifty pound bag fits in them. Stored in the cellar. I use the pitcher every now and then to transfer to the coop. I don't dump in a new bag until I go through the old one. 7 hens about 50 pounds per month.

As others mentioned- metal garbage cans for us. Can hold 3 40# bags, and rodent/weather proof
