Storms and power outages

We had a right load of those today, massive claps of thunder followed by the lights going out for about five seconds. It's been humid and rainy all day.

here in southern w.v. it is actually a very nice night. But the fishing sucked all day.

All is quiet and heating up here in NE Ohio.We have some 70's for 2 weeks with some storms,and then go figure snow predicted for the 26th.We have never been longer than a few daytime hours without power,but I suppose some wind up lanterns and more candles would be good.

Was windy as all heck yesterday. Brown outs. Power was out for a few hours. Large fires were burning north and south of us, far away enough to not be a big concern.

Low 80's in the Phoenix area, with rain storms and cooler weather predicted for sunday & monday as a storm system moves through. We shall see.

Pooring rain, lightning and canals over flowing flooding our town. Hows your day?

Better today, the power's come back. It was out all of last night, the TV would work sporadically if we gave up trying to switch on the lights, but we couldn't cook or do anything much. Was afraid the fridge would end up conking out too, but that kept mostly running. Thank heavens.

I think the weather's got all that rain out of its system anyhow.

Its nice and warm outside. But we had storms 2-3 weeks ago. My daughter had a sleepover and we had a 4-5 hour power outage that night. Didnt get much sleep that night.
