"Me too!" Victoria said.

"Sure!" Jaxon smiled, handing each a taco.

"Thanks!" Roselle said. Victoria just took the taco.
"So," Foalan said. "How much do we have?"

"Well, minus what we spent for the tacos, we still have about 10 dollars." Jadyn said. "Not adding whatever Anthony got today."

A battered-looking car sped round the corner, albeit almost silently, or as silent as it could get with that old spluttering engine. It disappeared down a side street with barely a screech. A few seconds later, a cop car swung into view and continued straight down the main street.

Shelly was off the hook. *mops brow*

"That's pretty good," Ellie said.
"Yes, but not enough. We need more if we're to stay alive," Victoria said.

Gabby sighed "Shell..."
