(( Sorry I haven't really been on this thread lately. ))

Just as Elena was about to answer, Bambi spoke before her in a protective, rather sisterly manner. "What did you just give us?"

Blake glanced at her, as if noticing she was there for the first time since he had given her the drink. Clearly his attention was focused somewhere else, Elena. "It wouldn't be no fun if I told you now," He purred "I assure you its not poisonous," He took another swig from his own glass "Otherwise I wouldn't be drinking it."

Eli leaned back against one of the supporting beams, watching her with his strange silver eyes. "So, Aisha. Tell me a bit about yourself" He invited.
"Uh... well... I grew up with my father, as my mother left us when I was young. He was a butcher. That was how I learnt to use a knife. He had me when he was forty-five, and he was fifty-eight when I turned thirteen. That was when he died. It was quite sad, but more than anything I didn't want to go to a foster home. I was forced to, but I ran away a couple months ago. It was hard to get used to being alone on the streets. And then I met you," she said, speeding up as she reached the end.

Eli was nodding slowly as she told her story "I'm sorry about your mom," He said sympatheticly once she was finished. He ran a hand through his longish, pale silver hair and studied her thoughtfully "Your welcome to stay with us as long as you need, I can teach you how to pick-pocket. Its a bit tricky at first, but becomes second nature once you get used to it." He reached behind her and poured a glass of the same brown liquid he had given Blake "Want some?"

"It's okay. I never really knew her. Throwing knives is great for managing anger," she smiled a little. "What is it? Oh, and thanks for everything."
