"Uh... well... I grew up with my father, as my mother left us when I was young. He was a butcher. That was how I learnt to use a knife. He had me when he was forty-five, and he was fifty-eight when I turned thirteen. That was when he died. It was quite sad, but more than anything I didn't want to go to a foster home. I was forced to, but I ran away a couple months ago. It was hard to get used to being alone on the streets.
