Chapter 19
Later on in the day, a human (not sure which one...) came and picked up Doe.
"Which feeder was that Chessnut?" Asked Lacy.
"No idea, the light is dim." Chessnut replied.
Doe was carried into the feeder's coop, (which may I say was incredibly large) and we didn't see her since.
* * *
A couple of hours passes and Doe was finally re-united with us. She looked the same, thank goodness!
"Where were you Doe? What happened?" I asked. I wanted to know, just in case it happened to me and I could prepare.
"No idea! I was just cuddled a lot. I lllllllikkkkkkeeeeeeeeeee that!" She gasped out.
Everyone welcomed her back. It wasn't like we we're REALLY missing her though- we were all just sleeping inside our coop, since it's snowing outside.

Chapter 20
Today was suppost to be a very special day! Well, so I heard.
"Jingle eggs, jingle eggs, jingle all the...."
"COOP!" We all sang.
It was Eggmas! Today was a extra special day, because of a holidy.


There was snow on the ground, and the father of the chicken feeder opened the door.
"Hey chicks!" I heard him say. We all ran outside to feel the cold snow on our feet.
"Wait up Sophie!" Sandy cried. Sandy loved to hang out with me, and I was fine with it. She was so pretty!

The chicken feeder came out and we all ran to her. She gave us three cups of food, and she started rolling the snow together.
"I wonder what's she's doing!" Lacy cried. Everyone stopped to watch, and it was facinating! In no time, there was a body. Soon came the wings, and then the tail!
"Wow, it looks like you Houdinni!" Carmen giggled. I guess it kind of resembled her.
In no time, there was a head, with a comb, and everything!
The feeder girl noticed something was wrong with the coop though... but what?

Chaper 21
We all were laughing, and having a good time. No one knew why the feeder girl seemed so upset though.
"Crow again daddy!" I cried.
"Your wish is my command, sweetegg!" Everyone was enjoying themselves.
Suddenly, everyone stopped. There was a scratching sound outside, scratch. Scratch.
"Everyone... get back! Hide!" Daddy crowed.
Everyone was panicing, but listened. I flew to the highest roost, next to Bell'e, Carmen, and Jewels. Daisy, Houdinni, Doe, and Sandy hid in nesting boxes. Lacy, Chessnut, Rosie, and Fern hid behind the water.
"Meeeeeeeeooooowww!" The creature purred.
What was this creature? No one knew. But, it seemed like it was getting closer. No one felt safe. Daddy wasdow on the ground, next to the door in a ready position to attack.
"Everyone back?" Daddy yelled.
everyone was afraid to answer, so we all just shook our heads.
"Meeeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww!" It said louder and closer. Scratch. Scratch. Scratch.
"I'm scared!" Said Doe.
"It'll be okay sweetie pie. Nothing will hurt us." Bell'e said encouragingly.
But I thought this wouldn't end well.... not with all of us here.


All of a sudden, we heard barking.
"Go girls, go get it!" We heard the feeder girl yell.
More barking.
"We're saaaaaaavvvvvveeeedddd!!!!!" Rosie yelled.

We all cheered for the wonderful protectors.
We could hear a chase, with much barking and mewing. I'm guessing the protectors won though- because after a while we heard praising, and barking.

The door opened.
"Everyone alright?" The Feeder girl said.
