That would be soo cool .. Now remeber the 2 sq ft per rule.. Post pics when you do it .. It sounds awesome..

A pic of the stove would be nice and maybe give folks ideas for you..

Seriously you gotta make your coop a tad bit more sensible, perhaps perusing the coop's threads will give you some better ideas, that will suite you better. So to answer your question No it won't work, don't try it.

I saw some old tv's that had been gutted and were being used as nesting boxes and roosts last year at the Funky Chicken Coop Tour in Austin, TX last year... recycle!
 
I think it could work. I'm sure you weren;t planning on shutting the door on them. There would be ventilation with the door off. It already has a vent built in. They're only going to roost in there anyway. I think it would hold 2 or 3. Your nest box could be built in the run. You could even put a peaked roof on it to make it look cooler if looks mattered. If I were you I'd put my imagination to work and post pic's when you're done. I'd love to see it.
