Straight Run Guinea Fowl from the feed store

What is the ratio of hens to roosters in the "straight run" bucket of day old guinea keets at Tractor Supply?

My keets are 10 weeks now and I am listening intently for the female "cook-ee, cook-ee" calls to drift above
the strident "chi! chi! chi!" calls of the males.

I am up to two individual keets calling "cook-ee". I was hoping for more hens.

The ratio may be half and half in the whole bin but that doesn't mean that the ones that got picked out for you will meet that ratio.

I had a woman get 10 keets from me that turned out to be all female. I was not making any attempt to determine sex as I was picking them out.

I would not worry about trying to sex them from their calls until at least 4 months old.

Thank you for your assurance. DH tells me he hears many guinea hens in the little flock.
