Cassie came back and saw Bai sitting by the stream. She went over and sat down and dangled her dirty bare feet in the water. "Want some?" she offered her fruit and berries to Bai.

Bai sighed. "Mai is still very mad. i dont think ive seen her since last night. She collected a bunch of food and stored it, so she wouldnt have to come out and see me. Though last night i heard her shooting some arrows into a tree, or maybe it was my hut" She said.

"Why were you on the plane? Maybe I can go talk to her." she said, knowing how bad it was to have your sister hate you.

" I was going somewhere to get a little, uumm" she thought about the right word. "Boost in college. We've needed money badly since our parents died, so i thought that graduating early would help" she said. "i dont have trustworthy family members, so i had to bring her"
