suddenly , the islanders hear a rustleing in a nearby tree

Jaiquill ignored it and aimed again, the arrow slicing through the small space between Bai and Jenni, hitting a 36 point buck wandering not far. Leaping from the tree, she landed with a roll, letting the ground take the force. She headed off to recover her game.

Mai smiled at her. Then she looked up to the tree with Bai. "Who's there?"

Morgan stared at the deer that had just fallen before her.
She had drawn her arrow an d was about to release but an arrow sliced through the air and hit it.
She had been frightened so badly that she let go of her arrow and it hit a rock, breaking in two. Yelping quietly while drawing another arrow which was a reflex, she walked forward slowly, cautiously.
Hearing a thump to her left.
