It's the season for new babies.
Anyone have any strange, unusual or uncommon babies?
Here's one of ours. 3 days old.
Everyone know what it is?

Yep. Sorry for poor pics. I have a cheap phone and don't want to disturb her.
We just bought her from a pet store 2 or 3 weeks ago. Of course no idea she was pregnant. Woke up the other morning and was like WTF are those???
Looked like some kind of burr or tiny scrub brush.
I'll update as they grow. She is young, too young and first litter so we're hoping things go ok for her and them.

Awww! Hope she and the littles do well!

Ya. The owner of the pet store raises them so he should of know when he needed to separate the sexes. Which brings up another fact. The father is her brother.
I got her for my wife so that will make it 10Xs as bad if this don't turn out well.
She read up on them and saw somewhere that although they often have 4 or 5 that they usually only end up weaning 2 or 3 so that also makes her worry.
You can see the one at the top is a bit smaller so that ones a concern. I always check to see if it's in a good position when they're nursing and its pushed away a lot so I use a pencil to ease it back where it needs to be.
