I checked the coop late night and saw this? It seems like an Egg membrane with egg yok but a lot of blood? I don’t think that much blood is normal. She layed and egg this morning and it was a normal egg. Should i be concerned?
The chicken is a white silkie.

I had a chicken lay a shell less egg once or twice but never with blood. Does her vent look okay?

Also check and make sure no infestation of lice or mites. Make sure good quality feed with poultry grit and OS on the side. :)

Probably not, I'd keep an eye on her tho. Are you positive which bird laid the bloody egg?
How old is she and how long has she been laying?

The blood is probably internal to the egg, rather than from the vent.
Blood vessels can break when the ova is released, usually it's tiny spot but sometimes it can be much more. Hopefully it's just a glitch and you'll never see it again.

Had one lay bloody eggs, a few over a week or so, customer saved an entire egg for me shell and all, and I was trying to winnow down who it was and it stopped, never to be seen again.

Is she acting normal, eating/drinking well?

I'm like @aart I don't get overly concerned right off the bat. I do observe the pullet/hen for any symptoms or changes in behavior.
I would be a good idea to look at her vent to see if there is any discharge and take a look at her poop over the next few days.

Thank you! I think she’s about 9-10 months old. Yes she seems normal otherwise.
