Strange egg

I got this very strange, rubbery squishy egg from one of my older chickens. First time I've gotten one like this. Is it just a strange occurance or could it be a sickness or something.

Just under 3 years. I stopped giving them oyster shells a while ago but I should probably start doing that again

I am seeing more thin-shelled eggs in a few of my older hens, which apparently can be common. Mine get layer feed plus crushed oystershell when they want it. They will always take finely crushed egg shells when I throw them out.

First off you have a fantastic name. I'll try the eggshell thing and see if they'll like them better than oyesterday shells
