I got what I refer to as a "rubber" egg yesterday. No shell at all. just the membrane and the yolk and white. 3rd one since I started chicken keeping 4.5 yrs ago.. strange looking thing. But it's normal, as the ladies have said, it's more than likely just a start up problem. Chickens can lay some weird eggs.
