I have 3 pullets, 1 started laying at 16 weeks, the next one at 18 weeks and on Friday the 3rd one 20 weeks laid this weird egg. I wasn't to concerned as it was her first egg. On Saturday there was no egg from her, but today she laid another one just like the one Friday. So should I be concerned about this???? If so is there something I can do?
They get very little treats and they are fed layer crumbles.

The one on the top is from Friday and the other is from today

These are all 3 laid today bottom 1 is from our first layer, middle from the second and top from the 1 that started to lay Friday.

Yaay, new girls in the Big Girl Club! Congrats!
Is the eggshell soft at all, or just kinda deformed? Do they have access to something like oyster shell as well as their usual food?
It could just be her system is coming online and throwing out some glitches initially. She will most likely not lay every day, so don't stress that too much.

I would offer them some oyster shell, but I really wouldn't worry too much yet. When they first start laying they can have some of the weirdest and strangest eggs for a while. Give her a little bit more time and see if her egg shells improve :)

Yeah I know they can have some glitches when they first start, but this is the first time I have ever had any eggs like this, and I was concerned since it was 2 in a row. No I do offer oyster shell since I feed layer crumbles, but I will pick some up. The shell is not soft in any way. Thanks for the advice, I'm just a worry wart since having to put down my other girl do to an attack. I don't want to lose another one to a reproductive disorder.

Those are slab-sided eggs. Can be caused by stress. Temps of 85 F/30 C, outside or in the coop can be stressful.
My first Flock of Golden Comets started to lay in August and it was hot.
One of my pullets was more susceptible and gave me a few slad-sided before it straightened out. 20160826_061244-2.jpg . Hopefully it's just stress. Here's 2 photos from Alltech with other possible causes. I've also gotten the white banded egg from the same pullet. GC 20190819_084303_resized.jpg

Thanks for the info, this is the first time I have ever seen this.
