Strange eggs

What about egg shells?

Crushed egg shells can help, in addition to Oyster Shell.
I mix mine.
Egg shell moves thru their system too quickly to be of great use,
OS stays in the gizzard for quite awhile.

some feed stores even sell packaged egg shells just for that reason.

Never heard of this...or seen them? Where do you buy them?

I'll be darned...wonder where they get chicken egg shells to sell....and how they process them??

@aart I'll look next time I go to Murdoch's, I can't remember the name. Hatchery or something like that. It's a very generic looking bag

Our little local feed store bags their own. It doesn't have a name... just egg shell - calcium for chickens written on the bag

I would love to know, am very curious...
...have never heard of chicken egg shells being sold commercially as a calcium supplement.
