Strange Growth below ducklings preen gland

Hi there,
today I noticed that one of my week old indian runner ducklings has an abnormal, ball shaped growth just below its preen gland. Strangely, the growth looks like it has an oil gland on it as well. It isn't causing the duckling any pain, but looks really weird.

Has anyone ever experienced this problem and if so, know what to do?
