Our newly laying 6 month old beautiful birds (14 of them) have just recently developed a strange growth on their combs, wattles and faces.
Some of the birds combs and wattles look powdery-white and others have whitish "rash" with a dark purple "head" on the tops of the whitish bumps. This happened very quickly like almost overnight??
Our birds are free range...get plenty of sunshine and a healthy variety of foods such as layer pellets and our food scraps including fruits, vegetables, coconut, cantaloupe, seeds, etc....
Has anyone ever seen anything like this and have any suggestions?
We love our girls and want to relieve them immediately!!
