Strange lump on comb

I looked closer at one of my hens and she seems to have a lump on her comb. Anyone know what this is? Thanks

I’ve never noticed it before so maybe 1 or 2 days? It just looks a bit swollen where it should be more pointy

Maybe it's an insect bite/sting. I would leave it alone for a while, and see if it goes away. How old is the hen? (my 9 year old BO hen developed a mole on her watles last year)
