Strange lump on foot

Found a softish lump on the foot of our old hen, Gwen the Hen, a County Fair Blue Ribbon winner. She’s about eight years old and sweet as can be. Any idea what it is and what to do about it?

Looks like your usual bumblefoot to me. You can see the black mark/clogged hole. You can look up how to treat but usually involves sitting the foot in a warm epsom salt bath to soften the clog, then it will drain of pus and what else is in there. Put your favorite wound ointment on and just watch the bird, severe cases sometimes need antibiotics.
