strange lump on my barred rocks foot

There is a strange lump on my barred rocks foot. It is on both feet in the same place ? Help ? :/

Yeah you can just slightly see it on the photo, I don't know what it is or what to do, there is no scab or cut

It kind of looks like a cyst or something like that... If it is you could try inserting a sterile needle (with a shot thingy attatched) into the lump and sucking the stuff out. That's what they did with my cyst. It is strange that it's on both feet though....

It's bumblefoot. Type "Bumblefoot" in the search box and you'll find a wealth of info on how to conduct minor surgery to remove it. If you dont remove it, staph infection will eventually kill your Barred Rock.

This link with pics might help. The only difference is that your BR has the bumble on top, which might require you to surgically open it from the top. I HAVE seen bumbles that were on top, but have had to surgically remove the bumble from the bottom.
Read through the thread before you perform the minor surgery on your BR and gather everything you need first before you perform the surgery. Good luck.

BTW: Take a look at post #4, the link provided in the post has a pic similar to your BR's bumblefoot.
