Sorry if I made it sound like VetRX was the answer. If it's something in the throat I would use olive oil too thank you for the directions on how to do it, I've been a little nervous about using a syringe because of it going down into her lungs.

The buff hen, Brigid, seems absolutely fine this morning. No wheezing and she's not seperating herself from her flock the way she was yesterday.

Yippee! I'm glad it was probably what I suspected.


As far as VetRx, Miss Lydia, it has aromatic ingredients and oils and it great for shining up legs and stopping scaly leg mites, but it has very little benefit of any other kind. Folks sometimes use it when they have respiratory illness, but birds can be sensitive to aromatics and sometimes, they can be fatal.
