I did search some last night, but it didn't seem to be the same. She took a turn for the worse today, I isolated her and now I think it really might be cocci.
She had clear liquid coming out of her mouth...it's sticky, like saliva. When I dipped her beak in water, she refused to drink, just kind of lifted her beak out of the water, but not drinking. When she lifted her beak out, there was a trail of the liquid from her beak to the water. There was a lot of it in her beak, at one or two points there was so much that when she breathed, it formed a bubble!
That is NOT good. She would also shake her head to clear her beak and the liquid would be gone for a while, having splattered on the surroundings.
Right now, she is in her own box with food and water and heat, and a CD. I put the CD in so she wouldn't feel lonely, but she doesn't care at all. She just stands there with her eyes closed, won't eat or drink. She did make a small poop, it wasn't runny and looked almost normal, had a hint of red in it.
Do I need to move this chick far away from the others? Right now, the two boxes are in the same room, close to each other.
What should I do, besides get cocci medicine?
