Strange Rooster

Hello I have a 6 Month old Bantam Rooster, which has been acting very strange,
He sometimes freezes completely and doesn't move even if I touch him, he freezes for 4-6 seconds,
Is this because the rooster is calm?
Also the rooster doesn't react when my 5 week old Rir Pullets peck his feathers,

I seriously doubt that "CALM" is the right adjective to use here.

I have a Splash Orphington who acts similar. It was when I brought him home he started it, I believe it's when they're nervous and not sure how to react. I tried teaching him how to use my complicated feeder and he just stood there for ten minutes unmoving. He's a little better now, but isn't a fan of being handled. Yet
