well folks i'm fairly new here. so a little flavor text. my wife says i have a strange (morbid) sense of humor. on our farm we have cows, horses, pigs, goats, dogs, cats, and chickens of course. only some of our animals have names but sense i deal with them most i name most of them.

chickens. most hens don't get a name but a few of my older girls' names are: poached, hard-boiled, scrambled, sunny side and mayonnaise
i have 5 roosters named: fried, rotisserie, hot wings, baked, and extra crispy
the 6 pigs are: pork chop, bacon, pork loin, boston butt, barbecue, sausage, and chittlins.
a bull named: T-bone
6 cows named: porterhouse, hamburger, new york strip, roast, brisket, veal. (the kids named the calves before i could think of names.)
my horse named: dogfood (he answers to it, and it doesn't seem to bother him. wife and kind named their horses sooo....)
4 cats named (working cats in the barn 2 other kitties in the house.): mu-shu, sesame, piking, and stir fry.
dogs named: gatorbait(gator for short, hog catch dog.), the rest of the dogs were named by the wife and kids. except for old jake.( he's my buddy and only ally against the wife and kids.)

anyway is my wife right, do i have a twisted sense of humor. (note that while the names may one day become a reality. if they earned a name they are either breeders or pets. both tend to have long happy lives here.)

You have a lot in common with many BYC members.

Maybe we ALL fit your wife's definition of morbid?

My DW says I have no sense of humor:

I had a little "talk" with the DW's dog while she was out.
