Strange thing the chickens are doing in the coop at dusk?!?

Mine used to do the same thing. And then one night one of them decided to hop up onto the roost and the others followed her. So funny.

I had one that slept on the floor for quite a while, she is a little slower than the others, bottom of the pecking order. She is over a year old and just started getting up on the roost a month ago.

I made a new roost pole only about 6 inches off the floor as a temporary pole to see if they would use it. So far a few have been.

Everytime I think something is terribly wrong with my girls, I get on here and find out it's completely normal. If i didn't have BYC I'd constantly be thinking there was something wrong. Chickens are just goofy, haha. Well I can relax once again.
