Strange turn of events

Thanks again everyone. Moving the shed will be the biggest challenge. But since we are only moving 3 houses down the street, it will be a short move. The inside is already finished, so mainly I just have to convert it to a coop, which won't take more than one day's work I am sure. I am drawing up the plans as we speak. I just need to go down to the new house and figure out exactly where it will be going. I am very excited and the girls are going to be styling in their super duper coop. It is their reward for living in the crappy one we have these past 5 years.

Thanks kuntrygirl. I love it too. I ran my soap biz out of there for 4 of the 8 years I had it open. While my husband kind of hates to see it turn into a chicken coop, I have assured him I will keep it up and keep it nice. He is afraid it will go to pot, but I won't let that happen. It isn't a perfect shed, but you can't tell where most of his mistakes are and in the two places you can, I will be covering those with cedar shingles once it is moved. He had some difficulty doing the top of each side and the used two different kinds of wood on them. I painted them a chocolate brown so you can see it real well, but the new house has cedar shingles and the sheds there have them on their gabled ends, so I will do that to this one as well and then they are all getting a new coat of sagey green paint and will be trimmed in cottage white. The house will get the same paint as it is currently a dark green with red trim on some parts and white on others. When I am done painting, everything will be the same and look like it has been there forever! Can't wait. Escrow is supposed to close on Friday and we are on pins and needles.

Thanks. It is going to be a beautiful coop. I just have to figure out where to put it at the new house. Escrow is due to close on Friday so that means we can start moving stuff out of the shed and getting this one ready to move. Very exciting I must say.
