Hey everyone, its been a while since I have gone on BYC but today I have a new question waiting to be answered

One of my chickens, Bubbles, has been laying strange looking eggs which are a lot more 'strange' looking then what others would call 'strange.' My questions are, why is this happening? How can I stop it from looking like that?

Here is some information:

Chicken: Not sure about the age since we got them from a friend. Skinniest among other chickens and has been laying these types of eggs for at least 3 days.

Egg: The egg is a normal size compared to others but the colour is much paler. Lines of the shell seem to be coming out and a tint of red on each of those lines. Lines go all around the eggs.

Sorry that there is no photo. I have taken some photos and hopefully I can manage to put this on. But for the mean time, if people know what I mean, please reply

Thank you!!! ~

EDIT: I have just been searching on the web and found a picture that looks like it
Please go here http://www.google.com.au/imgres?q=strange+egg&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1920&bih=989&authuser=0&tbm=isch&tbnid=Tm7nOgEcqJEB2M:&imgrefurl=http://www.thelensflare.com/imgs/strange-egg_32705.html&docid=VOo0nDHLBr5WAM&imgurl=http://cdn.mymarkettoolkit.com/90/gallery/large/strangeegg_32705.jpg&w=500&h=375&ei=RLLyTrrDFOrmmAWhtuSfAg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=313&vpy=422&dur=2519&hovh=194&hovw=259&tx=185&ty=153&sig=103497187028921737983&page=1&tbnh=128&tbnw=170&start=0&ndsp=66&ved=1t:429,r:21,s:0
The
egg on the right looks like it but it has more of a red tint on the lines and more stronger lumps...

I get some eggs like that every once in a while. Mostly my oldest girl lays them, but occasionally I'll get one from a new layer or one will pop from someone who has been laying normal eggs for a while. I just chalk it up to a glitch in their egg laying system. And I wouldn't worry too much unless she continues to lay the ugly eggs. My wrinkled eggs have all been normal inside, so we just eat them. Good luck!

Thank you for replying. I hope my chicken isn't getting old. Her first one was bad, the second one had a bit of wrinkles andthe 3rd one is what I described. I hope to see a g egg today
