Strangest and Silliest Chicken Names?

Okay these aren't chickens (don't have any yet) but I have 4 cats named the following for the following reasons:

Herman P. Sicamoose - Decided while driving to Saskatchewan from BC that I liked Sicamoose as a name, the cat looked like a 'Herman" so... yeah. He's an odd cat for sure.
Neopolitan or "Nea" - Grey, orange and white cat named after the icecream which a local dairy in BC had a custom combination of -- Licorice (grey), Vanilla (white) and orange (essentially tiger tiger with vanilla mmm... so good)
Boots - Didn't name him, but he's a snowshoe siamese
Lucy - Short for Lucifer. She was originally named Rash for road rash, found her in the highway and thought she was roadkill until she popped her head up. She had one side of her face completely road rashed. She's pure black and it turned to Satan because of the stigma that goes with black cats. However... she got into something and I yelled at "Satan" to stop doing that. The hubby was outside, heard it, and decided I couldn't call her that anymore (might scare the neighbours). I argued I couldn't call her Lucifer, as that was a boys name; Lucy it was.

I used to have 2 rats, one named Jack Sparrow and the other was Fettucini Alfredo..

The more I admit to this... the more idiotic I feel.

I decided to let my husband name one of the our newly hatched chicks. I won't do that again. He named her "Death-Ray."

We have a rooster named Chuck.....he was laid by a chicken but hatched by a duck! So obviously you get a chuck:)

Just named some of our group of 4-week-old EEs:
-Poachie
-Squirt
-Linc
-Lilly
-Einstein
-Bubbles
&& 2 more left to name.

We had some leghorn roosters in our last group that ended up going bub-byez, but their names were:
-Breakfast
-Lunch
-Dinner
-Mother Clucker (That rooster was EVIL, I swear

)
-Duece (Had 2 black dots on his back)
-Extra Crispy
-Grilled
& Original Recipe

We thought we were being pretty clever.

My daughter named our first 3 Red Stars Laura, Mary & Carrie (obviously a Little House on the Prairie fan at the time) and the next 2 were Katie & Sammi (after herself & her best friend at the time).
When I was a kid we had a hen named Henny Penny and a rooster that looked like a hen called Francis. The big roo was Brewster the Rooster.

My son is AWFUL at naming things. Since the beginning of time (he's 7 now) he has had a very standard naming system:

[Object] or [Color] + ee (emphasis on ee)

As in, his stuffed tiger is Tigeree
His stuffed bear was named Bearee
He wanted to name a black dog Blackee

When we got our 2 dozen chicks this spring, to my dismay, he insisted he should name them. We put it off for a while, to at least see what the sexes would be. We soon discovered we had a roo among the pullets. Any guesses on his name?

Roosteree

I was determined that I wouldn't have a bunch of Chickenees or Henees running around. So I tried to prompt him to get more creative. We ended up with:
All buff orpingtons are called Fluff (because they're fluffier than the rest and it rhymes with buff)
All black australorps are called Blackjack
All rhode island reds are called Ginger (he has red hair too)
All barred rocks are called Oreo

So, we have 5 names (couldn't shake Roosteree) for 24 chickens. And I'm thrilled that only one ends in ee.

Just had to put in my 2 cents worth. My chooks are 14 weeks old and some were easy to name .... and then there are my 4 Aussies (hey, I'm an Aussie!) that I can't tell apart. They have had all sorts of Aussie girl names - Sheila, Kylie, Charlene, etc- but none stuck. So, they are now Bruce, Bruce and Bruce (a la Monty Python sketch). Then there is our Nubs, our Cuckoo Marans rooster, (Nubsy, to put an Aussie twist on it) because of the beginnings of his spurs that appeared when he was quite young - nubs.
Blondy - the only blonde chick in the bunch (oh, so original) (blue laced red Wyandotte)
Sweetie - oh, such a sweet girl!
Frengo - Ok, so I had a couple of Italian friends visiting when I got the chicks (in fact all were Frengo/The Frengi)
And Cazzo. Won't go there. Again, thanks to my Italian friends.
And Spots (both silver laced Wyandottes).
Cheers!

Most of my chickens have normal names (Kim, Gertrude, and the such) but occasionally I choose one that is a little more... interesting.
My 2 most interesting are LaShonda and Friudran (Frou-drawn, with as little emphasis on the W as possible).
I don't know how I come up with them, they just come to me. I'm just insane, i guess.
